At Clouding we have an agreement with OpenProvider that offers accounts for SpamExperts to control SPAM both inbound and outbound. As Clouding customers, you have a promotional coupon that gives you a discount on many OpenProvider products.
In the following tutorial, we explain how to configure an inbound filter for SpamExperts to prevent inbound SPAM.
Configuration in the OpenProvider account
Access your OpenProvider panel and, in the left-hand menu, go to Filtrado de SPAM. The first step is to add a new filter by clicking Pedir filtro nuevo.
As shown in the image below, add a domain name and then the mail server, which should generally be mail.dominio.TLD. Then select the product “Filtro de entrada”.
Once you have filled in all this information, click the green button labeled "Guardar".
Now, in the Filtro de spam section, you will see the new filter you have created. To configure this filter, click the button "Ir al panel de control del filtro de spam".
Add MX records to DNS
You also need to add the three MX records to your DNS so that SpamExperts can check emails before they are delivered.
Add a new record by clicking the + symbol, and a form will appear that you need to fill out as follows:
