Cloudera is a company that provides data platforms based on Apache Hadoop. They are big data experts who also offer their customers support and services, as well as training. It was founded in 2008 to help companies using Hadoop get more value from their own data.
Apache Hadoop is a software framework that supports distributed applications under a free license. It allows applications to work with thousands of nodes and petabytes of data.
You may be interested in using Cloudera if you are a business user, to use its data management and analysis platform, or if you are a developer, since you will be able to create Big Data applications in Apache Hadoop with open-source tools.
