When you need detailed information about PHP on a server, the best option is to use the phpInfo function.
Using this function is very simple: just create a file called, for example, info.php, upload it to any public folder on your hosting account, or simply to the web content folder, and once uploaded, load it in any browser. The file should contain the following:
<?php
phpinfo();
?>One option for this function that can be very helpful is phpinfo(INFO_MODULES). This option displays all active PHP modules.
To include this option, simply add this line to the example file:
<?php
phpinfo();
phpinfo(INFO_MODULES);
?>If, as in the example, you have named the file info.php, and placed it in your website's public root directory, you only need to access that page. That is, in this example, you would only need to access http://dominio.tl/info.php, and the PHP information will be displayed.
You can find more information about phpinfo() in the official PHP documentation.
