With a default installation of HestiaCP, you can install the latest version of WordPress easily from the control panel in just a few clicks, without uploading any files via FTP. Below, we explain in detail the steps to follow to install a WordPress website.
For security, we recommend creating a dedicated user instead of using the HestiaCP admin user to publish your website.
Installing WordPress on your web domain
Go to the "Web" section in your control panel and click the domain name where you want to install WordPress:
Next, click "Quick install App".
Select "Preparar" in the WordPress box. By default, this installs the latest available version of "WordPress".
Fill in the form and click "Install".
Once the installation is complete, the message "WordPress App was installed succesfully !" will appear.
When you visit the website, you will see the default WordPress page and can now edit the website from the WordPress administration panel.
