To create a Minecraft server and build custom structures with your friends on Pterodactyl, log in to your Pterodactyl control panel (remember you have the preinstalled image available in your Clouding client panel) and log in with an admin user.
We recommend enabling strict Anti-DDoS if your FiveM server is publicly accessible.
Once you have strict Anti-DDoS enabled, we recommend activating Edge Filters. To do this, go into the server and in the options go to Anti-DDoS, then click the + in Edge Filters:
Add the rule for GTA V
Add the port you've configured; you can enable strict mode without issue, although it may block your own bots:
You can read more about strict Anti-DDoS in the following article
You can also set up a VPN like Wireguard for server access or filter access by IP.
Click the gear button (Admin Control) at the top right corner of the user's dashboard page, and then in the nodes section, click the specific node:
Then, click on the "Allocations" tab in the top navigation bar, and in the "Assign New Allocations" section on the right side of the page:
Enter the server's public IP address and enter the port or ports of the application you will use. You can enter more than one using spaces or commas. In this article, we'll use a Vanilla Minecraft server as an example; the port used is 25565. (remember to open the port in the Clouding Firewall server profile).
Once the allocation has been created, you can assign it to a server on the corresponding node. This is done from the "Servers" tab in the node control panel. So, create a new server by clicking the section and the "Create New" button. Then choose the server's name, description, and user:
Also, select the resource limits for the server. You can leave it unlimited by entering zero:
Lastly, select the desired Nest and Egg. Pterodactyl supports several server types by default, from Minecraft to voice servers like TeamSpeak and Mumble. You can also import other Eggs in the Nests section, such as those from parkervcp. However, in this article, we select a Vanilla Minecraft server:
And finally, click on "Create Server" at the bottom right. Installation will begin automatically and you can monitor the process by exiting "Admin Control" using the top-right button. In the user's dashboard, the created server will appear in the list and by clicking it, the console will be displayed:
For a Minecraft server, a pop-up will appear during installation to accept the EULA, and once accepted, the installation will finish and the server will start.
