mIRC is an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) client for Windows, designed to facilitate real-time communication through chat servers worldwide. It was launched in 1995 and became one of the most popular IRC clients due to its ease of use and advanced features.
In this article, we will teach you how to install the mIRC software and join a chat group within a server.
Download and Install mIRC
First, go to the mIRC download portal: Download mIRC. Then, click on the green "Download" button to proceed with downloading the executable file.
Once you have downloaded the executable file, click on it, and the installation wizard will open.
At this point, select the "Full" installation type.
Once finished, click on "Run mIRC" and then "Finish" to open the software.
When the software opens, you will see that you can try it for 30 days before needing to purchase a paid license to continue using it.
