Recently, some customers have reported issues accessing Windows 2019 servers from Windows 10. This error occurs when connecting through a VPN or with low-quality Internet connections. The behavior is that the screen stays black when accessing via Remote Desktop, as shown below.
This problem has 2 possible solutions:
– Disable UDP traffic for Remote Desktop in the Clouding firewall profile. To do this, locate this rule in the firewall profile and disable it:
– Disable UDP traffic for Remote Desktop on the Windows 10 client. To do this, go to the Start menu, select Run, and type gpedit. In the Local Group Policy Editor window, navigate to: "Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Connection Client". Look for the option “Turn Off UDP On Client” and double-click it. In the next window, select “Enabled” and save the changes.
