WordPress is an open-source platform that allows you to create and manage websites in a simple and flexible way, from blogs to online stores. It is known for its intuitive interface, large community, and thousands of customizable themes and plugins. With OpenPanel, installing WordPress is very simple thanks to its automated assistant.
Prerequisites
To install WordPress, you will need to have a server created with OpenPanel in your Clouding account and also a user (non-admin) in OpenPanel. If you haven’t yet created a user in OpenPanel, you can follow the following article: Create a new user in OpenPanel.
You will also need to have acquired a domain and have it configured in OpenPanel. If you haven’t yet created your domain in OpenPanel, you can check the following article: Manage domains in OpenPanel.
Install WordPress on your web domain
In the left panel, click on "Site Manager" and then, on the right, click on "New":
The Auto Installer of OpenPanel will open, allowing you to install various web applications, including WordPress. Click on "Install Wordpress":
Fill in the form details, paying special attention to the user for accessing the backoffice (Admin Username) and ensure you assign a secure password to this user. You can generate a strong password using the "Generate" button. Select the domain where you will install WordPress and click on "Start Installation"
Once the installation is complete, the new website will appear in the WordPress Manager list
