When you register with Clouding.io, we add 5 € of free credit to your account so you can try our cloud servers. We also send you an email with an PROMO CODE from OpenProvider that offers a range of discounts on its services for being our customer.
To give you access to lower prices for these services, Clouding.io has signed an agreement with Openprovider, a company specialising in these services, which will offer you the opportunity to become a Silver Partner (level 7 in its pricing structure), with lower prices than those available to a standard customer.
If you are thinking of registering a domain to use on our servers, you will need to change the domain's name servers to point to our DNS server.
Below, we explain how to configure your OpenProvider domain to point to our servers. The first thing you need to do is log in to your OpenProvider account and then go to Administrar dominios:
Click the domain name for which you want to configure the NS, then click Modificar datos del dominio, as shown in the following image:
There, change the DNS servers to the following:
- ns1.clouding.io (93.189.92.200)
- ns2.clouding.io (93.189.93.200)
You can also purchase the domain and change the NS during the purchase. If you are going to repeat this step many times, you can create a DNS group. Go to Administrar DNS > Administrar grupos de DNS and click Añadir un grupo de DNS:
And then go to Crear un grupo de DNS. Then, when you purchase the domain under Administrar Dominios > Registro dominio you will be able to select your DNS group:
