HestiaCP is a fork of VestaCP that includes many other useful features unavailable in VestaCP, such as native support for different PHP versions and many updated packages, including MariaDB.
On Clouding, you can create a server using the preinstalled image of HestiaCP, so you do not need to install it manually.
Installing HestiaCP
To install it, we need to create a server using an image of Debian 10, 11 or 12 or Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04 LTS.
Once the server has been created, we need to access the server via SSH and update the operating system packages:
# apt update && apt upgrade -y
Download the script:
# wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/hestiacp/hestiacp/release/install/hst-install.sh
Run it:
# bash hst-install.sh
We can also customize it by specifying our email address and the main HestiaCP domain:
# bash hst-install.sh -f -y no -e email@domain.tld -p p4ssw0rd -s hostname.domain.tld
- -e: Enter your email address (it must be a valid email address).
- -p: Configure the IP address for access with the admin user.
- -s: Configure a hostname for the server. It is important to use a real hostname; otherwise, your server's IP address is very likely to end up on SPAM blocklists. We recommend using the server's main domain or the hostname automatically created for your server.
To configure more HestiaCP options, you can use this script generator to select the packages you need.

To install Apache + Nginx + MultiPHP + proFTPd + Bind9 + Postgresql + Full Mail Services + Fail2Ban:

To install Hestia without mail services:
# bash hst-install.sh --apache yes --nginx yes --phpfpm yes --multiphp yes --vsftpd no --proftpd yes --named yes --mysql yes --postgresql no --exim no --dovecot no --clamav no --spamassassin no --iptables yes --fail2ban yes --quota no --api no --force yes --interactive no --port 8083 --hostname hostname.domain.tld --email email@domain.tld --password p4ssw0rd --lang es
The installation process can take between 10 and 15 minutes. Once it finishes, it will display the HestiaCP access details:
For everything to work correctly, the server needs to be restarted, so we will restart it by entering Y.
After restarting, we can access it on port 8083 by entering https://IP_SERVIDOR:8083 in the browser's address bar:
