In our list of Images available on Clouding, you have access to an image with an open source control panel for managing websites called ISPmanager. With the latest AlmaLinux version.
Remember that you can use the Clouding coupon to get a discount on your ispmanager license. You can find more information in the article Clouding promotional code for a 20% discount on your ispmanager license.
Among the features of ISPmanager are the options to manage web spaces, choose between different versions of PHP, FTP, DNS, a mail server, databases, local and remote backups, and above all, its server monitoring tools.
It also comes configured with OpenLiteSpeed, which makes websites run much faster. It also includes the option to automatically add free SSL certificates thanks to Let's Encrypt.
When you create a new machine with ISPmanager , keep in mind that the server is created almost instantly, but it will then spend around 15 minutes installing all the panel components. So when you receive the email with the server password, you will not yet be able to access the panel from your browser.
It is important that after installing ISPmanager you complete the following steps to avoid problems in the future.
Enable port 1500 for the server
By default, this port is not allowed in the Clouding FW. It is the port used to access the panel. To enable it, simply go to Mis Firewall, click the pencil in the FW configured for your server, and add the following FW rule (if you only want to access it from your computer, you can filter by IP):
Activate the account license
Once you have opened the port, open the web panel using the root user and the server password, go to License management and click Buy license:
You can now select the license you want. Just click Select for the desired license. This will take you to their website, where you will need to create an account and activate the license.
Change the server Hostname
Another thing you will need to change is the hostname of the server. Click Settings -> System settings and finally change the hostname:
Configure notifications
To receive notifications, go to Settings -> Notifications, then select External mail server and configure the mailbox where you want to receive notifications.
