The domain administrator access password is the one commonly used to provide limited access to a domain’s Plesk control panel to a customer, a technician, or similar, without allowing them to access the rest of the domains configured in the Plesk control panel.
In Plesk 10 it is possible to have multiple users with different permissions and limits, who can access all subscriptions or a single “Subscription”.
Steps to change the login details for any of these users:
-
Log in to your Plesk control panel.
Note:
If you have the “Power User View” configured in your Plesk control panel, from which you will access your webspaces directly, you can skip directly to step 4.
- Select the “Domains” menu.
- Click the “Open in Control Panel” link for the domain where you want to make the change.
- Make sure that in the “Webspace” dropdown you have selected the domain you want to modify.
- Go to the “Users” tab.
- Click the “Contact name” you want to modify.
- Click “Change Settings”.
- Enter an access password in the “Password” and “Confirm Password” fields.
- Click “OK” to save the changes.
