To open the CMD (command interpreter) in Windows, follow these steps:

If you want to access CMD on your computer, skip to step two or press the key combination "[Win key] + [R]" and continue at step 4.
Connect via Remote Desktop to your Windows server.
Perform a right-click on the Start menu, or Inicio in Spanish Windows.
Perform a left-click on the Run option, or Ejecutar.
Type "cmd" and click "Aceptar" to open the console:

In Windows 8 or later, a very simple way to open the command prompt is to press the key combination "[Win key] + [X]" and click Terminal de Windows (Administrador) or Símbolo de Sistema (Administrador).
