The change to Plesk’s default page is usually because servers have a specific read order for files named “index” in each directory, which is the file that is read by default when a directory is loaded.
It is also possible that you have not removed the default files contained in the /httpdocs folder and therefore this default page is being shown due to the execution order of “index” files.
The first thing you should do is verify whether there is another “index” file in the /httpdocs directory besides the one you created, since when hosting for a new domain is created, an index file is generated by default, along with other files and folders, which can be deleted because they only contain the information for Plesk’s default page.
The default order in which “index” files are executed is as follows: index.html, index.wml, index.cgi, index.shtml, index.jsp, index.js, index.jp, index.php4, index.php3, index.php, index.phtml, index.htm, default.htm, default.html, and home.htm.
