Sometimes, whether you are moving your server to Clouding or simply upgrading a server's OS, you may need to migrate content from one CyberPanel server to another.
Migration with this panel is straightforward, as it includes a tool that migrates both email and websites along with their existing settings.
Preparing the source server
On the source server, you need to enable API access for the admin user to perform the migration, as it uses the API.
To enable it, go to Users-> API Access in the CyberPanel control panel.
Migrating the content
To move the content to your server, go to Backups -> RemoteBackups in the new CyberPanel installation.
Once there, enter the old server's IP address and the admin user's password, then click "Fetch Accounts". The websites on the other server will then appear.
To start the migration, simply click "Start transfer". If you only want to migrate specific domains, select the checkbox to the right of each domain you want.
Once the boxes that appear display the message "completed[success]", all your content will have been migrated.
